Once placed in the nursery in the Natufia Smart Gardens, seed pods start their growing life cycle from seeds to young seedlings to mature plants. The seed maturity can start as early as 4 weeks and as late as 3 – 4 months depending on the plant you are growing. Mature plants can be harvested throughout this time; however, they will need to be removed from the grow chamber eventually.
Frequently harvesting and pruning your plants is the best way to keep Natufia Smart Garden’s maintenance low! It can be tempting to leave your plants in the Natufia Smart Gardens for long periods; however, this can lead to several issues inside as blockage of water from reaching the other plants.
Natufia seeds are:
At Natufia, we strive to source high-quality, non-GMO, and organic seeds! However, due to supply constraints, some varieties may not use organic seeds. This will always be noted on their seedling page.
